Admission Process

1. Admission is open to students who meet the age and academic requirements prescribed by the Tamil Nadu School Education Department.
2. Students seeking admission must have completed the previous standard from a recognized school.
3. Admission to higher classes is subject to seat availability and academic performance.

The admission process at AVS High School follows the steps given below:
1. Registration for admission (in person or through prescribed mode)
2. Collection or submission of the completed application form
3. Submission of required documents
4. Appearance for assessment (where applicable)
5. Interview for shortlisted students
6. Confirmation of admission after selection
7. Completion of admission formalities and fee payment
8. Issue of books and academic materials

Applicants must submit the following documents along with the application form:
1. Attested copy of Birth Certificate
2. Two recent passport-size photographs
3. Copy of Aadhaar Card
4. Transfer Certificate (Original)
5. Previous school mark statements / progress report
6. Character Certificate from the previous school
7. Medical Certificate (if applicable)
8. Community Certificate (if applicable)

Students seeking admission to Standards VI to IX may be required to appear for a basic assessment in Tamil, English, Mathematics, and Science. Shortlisted candidates and their parents may be called for an interview to understand the student’s academic background and to ensure a smooth academic transition.
